Today we're remembering you; each in our own special way. The bond we share as police officers is lasting and forever. I honor, respect, admire and remember you; not just on anniversaries but always. I am forever grateful for the quiet, intimate moments we shared exchanging "war stories" over coffee and about life. We're all indebted to you for helping us to be stronger and face new challenges everyday. Life is difficult at times and your strength and wisdom guides us. Rest well Charlie, we will all be together again someday. "POST PHOEBUS NUBILA" (HPD 495 / HPD 1742)

Well today I am thinking of Father's Days in the past. As a child making  gifts you seemed to love and never knew what they were. To you grandkids doing the same, and the smiles it brought to your face. I was blessed to spend your ast father's day with you so you could meet Garrett, he is so much like you dad. Thank you for all the wonderful memories, morals and guidance you gave all of us, they live on in many generations.
